for the poetry lovers

i’ve recently started reading in novels in verse. i’m enjoying them for a few reasons:

1. i forgot i loved poetry. there’s something different about the emotions that poetry can tap into.

2. novels in verse are great to read when you want a book that you can finish in one afternoon. they tend to take less time to read, but they don’t have any less staying power.

these are two i really loved. SUNRISE NIGHTS was rec’d by emily henry. LAWLESS SPACES was a book i randomly stumbled upon that surprised me in the best way. both are YA.
