I didn’t like this popular book…

i’ve seen nothing but great things about this book. how romantic it is! how magical! but i did not like it…

here’s the thing: i don’t love time travel romances. why? i have no idea the trope irks me. so, i guess i should have known that this book might not be my cup of tea. though…. i loved THE DEAD ROMANTICS but that one was a bit more gothically romantic (which is a vibe i love).

i couldn’t get into the groove of the writing, or the main character. hence my inability to keep going. but i see so many amazing quotes from this book!! do i need to give it another shot?
