it’s been a long time coming but…

I’m finally going to read this series !

My TBR runs a mile long. Scratch that, I think it could circle the earth at least one time. There’s a little bit of everything on there, but there’s only one epic YA pirate fantasy and that is the NAMESAKE series.

I swear, every time I’m in the bookstore these covers catch my eye. They are gorgeous. The way the faces connect? The colors? The eyes? I love it all. It’s what caught my eye first, and it’s what keeps me coming back. That, and the amazing reviews.

Personally, I love a good duology. Two feels like the Goldilocks number to me. This one is about Fable, who thinks she has finally found freedom but then gets roped into being the pawn for a notorious thug. But in working for him, she will be able to reach her intended destination. While working in his scheme, she learns of secrets that will force her to risk it all, including the boy she loves and the life she dreamt of.
