it’s okay to have no aesthetic

I wish I was an aesthetic girl… but I’m just not. I’m an ~eclectic~ girl. I just throw stuff on my shelf (or around my home) and hope it sticks.

So, this little post is for all the girls (or boys!) who see beautiful little bookcases that are immaculate arranged (for some reason always sparkling clean and white) and think: man, will I ever have that? I see you, I am you. Here is my weird bookshelf to make you feel better. I love her, even though she is not the most instagrammable thing!

My stuffed animals: Barnes & Noble. Obviously I need these two cuddlies. They are from the place where I get most my books, and what better way to represent B&N than with cute little stuffed animals?

My WOMEN WHO READ ARE DANGEROUS book. Yes, this book gets its own shelf. Why? Because it’s iconic. Full stop.

This little happy cloud. I look at it, and I smile. Good enough reason for me. Do I have a stuffed animal obsession? I don’t know. Maybe. Sue me.

My mini bookshelf. This thing is so cute. It’s a little piece of art that I got in Italy and it looks just like my bookshelf! Uncanny.

My unlit hot chocolate candle. Technically, this is winter themed by it stays out all year round because 1) it’s pink 2) it smells delicious and now all the books near it also smell delicious.
