The Meaning Behind My Tattoo

I recently got a super special tattoo, and lots of people have been asking what it means, so I wanted to share that with all of you as well!

I am naturally a bit of a busy body, always striving for the next thing and keeping myself moving (maybe to avoid other things I should be doing), so I wanted something to be able to remind me that it’s okay to slow down and take care of myself sometimes. I also wanted something a little different than just “slow down” so the phrase “you’re driving too fast” came to mind.

My good friend is in grad school and often feels the same way, always running and rarely taking a moment to slow down and just be. So this was really a perfect phrase for us to get together!

It was even more special that we got to do it together and I will always cherish those memories with her!
