“WHY DID MY FAMILY GET MY BROTHER A DOG?!”

is what i asked myself after he got this adorable baby instead of me!

turned out Oakley was a blessing in disguise! my brother, Ben, was going through some things and felt so alone. that is, until he got Oakley.

Oakley has been his biggest supporter, best friend, etc. they do EVERYTHING together!

i had to share this story because it is beyond sweet! a dog truly is a boy’s best friend, so get the puppy!!!

FUN FACT! cocker spaniels are typically multicolored, but Oakley is FULLY chocolate brown. believe it or not, he was the cheapest of his siblings because he was seen as less because of his coat. turns out, those people missed out!!! the lack of a funky coat is perfect for his wacky personality! so while we are on the topic, even if you are buying a pet instead of the traditional adoption route, go for the baby that speaks to you, even if they don’t have a crazy-funky coat!
