How do you split the rent with a couple?

I live with a couple in a 2br apartment and paying the rent 50% for me 50% for them. But they are taking the master room. They are only willing to split the water/electricity/cable bills as 3, but I’m asking to pay 40% since they are taking the master room.

AM I THE WRONG HERE??

I want to ask one more thing.

You have a roommate, and if your roommate doesn't say anything or doesn't seem unhappy with your partner coming over to your apartment every single day and seems friendly with him/her, would you let your partner move into your apartment WITHOUT asking your roommate if it's ok??
