clean out my closet part two!!!

you guys i am on a rolllllll with summer cleaning. im sooo proud of myself. ive already decided to get rid of 30 pieces and did a second round today to get rid of a few more things.

i feel like i find myself holding on to pieces because its a rare vintage find, i used to love wearing it or i paid a lot of money for it. ive always been someone who has a lot of stuff. i love collecting things, organizing things, having piles, etc. its not hoarding but its like not far from it. i love!!! having !!! things!! which might sound materialistic but i think its more of like a creative thing. where getting dressed or putting on jewelry or arranging my nightstand feels like an art project and i want to have a lot of supplies.

not sure if that makes sense to anyone else at all but it does to me ??? please weigh in

anyways, ive been telling myself that i need to get rid of things that i dont LOVE to make space for something that i will love. so for example, the two dresses im selling and the skirt, i really like. but i never look at them and feel excited to wear them. its kinda like “oh i guess i can make this work” so im getting rid of them, and using the money & space to invest in something that ill be sooo excited to wear and style. (i have my eye on a few reformation dresses 👀)

this isnt me saying im a minimalist now, but im trying to make space for things that make me really really happy. so heres my attempt at it!!!! im pretty proud of myself so far
