Espresso martini recipe🍸

If you haven’t tried an espresso martini you’re missing out! It’s a super simple recipe once you have the right ingredients.

What you need:

1.5oz of any plain vodka

1.5oz of any coffee liqueur

1oz of chilled coffee, ideally espresso

Ice

Shaker

Martini glass for serving

Step 1: fill shaker halfway full with ice

Step 2: measure and add all ingredients into shaker

Step 3: close shaker tightly and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds

Step 4: pour contents of shaker into martini glass

There should be some foam on the top of the drink, which means it’s been shaken well enough and it ready to enjoy! You can also garnish with some whole coffee beans which really adds to the overall appealing look to the drink, I just didn’t have any on hand!

Some recipes also call for simple syrup, but my personal preference is to leave that out. The coffee liqueur adds enough sweetness in my opinion, but if you are more of a sweet beverage person, definitely try adding that to yours!
