Flowers I’ve Had Success With & Ones I Haven’t

I started my own little flower garden this spring, and some of them are still very much standing, thriving even, while others did not have the same fate.

I’ve had great success with Brazilian jasmine. I love how it climbs things and how many buds it produces. Clearly mine is very happy!

This was my first time growing petunias and I love them, they enjoy full sun, which mine have for 4-5 hours a day. Only thing with petunias is you have to prune the dead flowers off, but I honestly enjoy it.

Daisies are also one who love full to partial sun. Mine gets maybe about 3-4 hours full sun which seems to be enough since it keeps popping up new flowers!

Sunflowers are ones I’ve struggled with. I’ve grown them in the past with more success, but they always end up getting mealybugs from too much moisture.

Stocks are one I’ve never had before, and I was super excited about them because they’re beautiful but mine did very poorly. I don’t know why for sure, but I’m assuming too much moisture.

I’m okay to admit not all my plants are successes stories, but I’m happy with the ones that have continued to grow🌿
