Merit’s Limited Edition Lip Shade “Aperitif”

I never found a true red shade that matched me growing up. Merit gifted me this beautiful lipstick in the shade Aperitif. You can find this on their website for $26 or other shades on Sephora. I believe this shade is not available on Sephora’s website.

First impression:

Not so impressed… First application didn’t really caught my attention but as I left it on and the more I saw myself in the mirror with this shade on my lips, I started liking it more.

Formula:

The formula is like any other matte lipstick. It has a matte satin finish which it will dry on your lips so lip balm before this is definitely needed. But it glides on to the lips really nicely.

This is such a beautiful shade and if you want to try this shade, I recommend getting it now before they take it off their website as it is only limited edition.
