On this platform, it’s all about sharing and no gatekeeping. Here are some of my favorite beauty products to bring to the beach.
1. Setting powder
- It’s summer, we don’t want super glowy skin where it makes it look super oily. One/size Ultimate Setting Powder in travel size is perfect to carry in your makeup bag! I bought mine for $18 at Sephora.
- You want to apply the powder only on the areas where you get oily the most.
- You can apply the powder with a fluffy brush or a small cotton puff. The one I am using in slide 2 is from Daiso which you can get 2 for $1.75.
2. Multi color cream stick
- Since we’re traveling, we want to carry light and a makeup product than be your blush and lipstick is the way to go.
- I like to bring a multi cream stick by Milk Makeup. The shade I’m using is Enigma and you can find it at Sephora for $24.
- I like to dab this color on my cheeks, and my lips. What I also like about this is you can easily blend with your fingers. It’s easier to blend with your fingers if it’s cream or liquid base.
3. Waterproof Mascara
- We’re gonna keep it simple with eye makeup if we want a natural minimal summer look.
- A good waterproof mascara will literally help make your eyes pop and stand out.
- Also when you sweat or swim, you’re mascara won’t come off.
- One I recommend is the Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara in Long curling. You can easily find this on Amazon for $14.
4. Setting Spray
- Lastly we want to finish off our makeup with setting spray. I think the Elf Setting spray is everyone favorite.
- Just lightly spray all over your face and let it air dry and sink into your foundation base.
- This can found at Target for only $10!
