Tulum Travel Tips ✨

Tulum, Mexico has been flooded with tourism over the last few years. But for a good reason, honestly. Try to aim for right before or after busy season. My tips:

1) Plan/book your transportation from the Cancun airport far enough in advance.

2) Beach hotels are gorgeous but extremely expensive. Air BnBs in town are a cheaper bet but, be warned, the traffic getting to the beach side of town is INSANE.

3) There are no Ubers in town and taxis can be tough to track down at times. It helps to have building attendants/front desk staff to call taxis for you or (my favorite option) rent a bike/lock!

4) Traffic leaving Tulum can be quite crazy. Plan to leave for the airport much earlier than you think.

5) The food is amazing! Plan to spend most of your budget on food and nightlife experiences.
