Expectation versus reality: Cake Edition

For my anniversary, I wanted a cute cake, but with finals and the stress of moving out, finding time to place an order at a bakery was tough. Once I finally had the chance, I searched on Pinterest for a cake design and instantly fell in love with a minimalist one – a calendar with hearts. Thankfully, Publix came to the rescue, making a cake on short notice. Opting for the smallest size with strawberry filling (for an extra cost), it came to $18. The cake not only tasted delicious but also looked similar to the Pinterest image, and it was ready on time.
