SAD is a type of depression that occurs during certain seasons of the year, most often fall or winter. Symptoms can vary from mild to severe and can interfere with daily functioning.

Early treatment can help prevent symptoms from getting worse and lead to complications. Some people find it helpful to start treatment before symptoms usually start in the fall or winter and continue past the time symptoms normally go away.

💪🏻✨now here's some things that helped me a lot last year hopefully I can help you out too honestly this is more for me so I can look back on and kind of have a road map of how to not get so down in the dumps

1) start getting up early. more sunlight the better

2) try going on a walk once a week when the weather is nice still

3) take pictures of the leaves and things changing

4) try to romanticize the season.

a) make a bucket list of fall activities that I want to do ( so something to look forward to )

b ) make a list of TV shows and movies that I want to watch and books I want to read to get me into the fall mood

5 ) be more gentle with myself. I'm going to have evidence and flows of productivity and that's okay

6 ) journaling

7) try new recipes
