I finally have eyebrows

I used to have bangs most of my life and did not bother with my eyebrow as they were covered anyways. But now that they’re exposed i realised that i have zero skills in drawing and filling my browns and i cannot make them sisters for the life of me rip. So i looked into doing microblading after a suggestion from some friends and found @𝗕𝗿𝗪𝗼𝘄Shuen on lemon8 and look the leap of faith. The session cost me $199 with free lash lift.

My journey began with a consultation in her home ( very clean and theres air con which was super good cuz sg damn hot ) where she took the time to understand my preferences and assess my natural brow shape and skin conditions.

❗️I was told that ppl with oily skin may notice that the microblading may not last as long and the strokes form microblading may be slightly thicker despite thin blades being use!! Altho i was kinda sadden by the news I’m glad for the heads up

We discussed the style i like and she actually sketch me another style aside from what i wanted as well which I really liked cuz what if i liked that more uk HAHHA Personally the whole sketch took a while for me as we found out that i tend to raise my right eyebrow more which requires more sketches to even out both side. She was super patient and kept making corrections to the sketch which made me feel really safe and at ease since i saw how much effort she put into it. After the style was finalised and i gave the green light, the numbing cream was applied. The process itself took about two hours ish? I wld rate the pain 2/10; like its there but mild enough that i can sleep through it.

After she was done, she gave me the mirror andddddd i felt a lil underwhelmed HAHAHA like first impression was it looks okay? Like natural but i feel like i look the same. BOY WAS I WRG LAH HAHAHA I got humbled real quick after seeing my before pictures DAMN PEISEH I look much better with the new brow HAHAHHAAH but i think this just proves much natural her work rlly look. In actual reality my brown were fuller, thicker and well defined. The initial dark color faded slightly over the next few days, revealing a more natural look that I loved.

After the whole procedure, i avoided doing exercises and sun for a week, and applied the cream she gave me. She did warned me that it might peel and it wld be itchy but as luck wld have it for me i felt zero itching! As the weeks went by, i do feel that the shading definitely came off a bit (2nd slide) but im also due for a touch in in my 5th week so v excited :-)

Overall the downtime was q short, not much pain after the procedure and she was super gentle. And even tho i was told the strokes may look thicker dude to my oily skin, I personally thinks it looks okay

Microblading has been a great experience for me. Not only did it save me time in my makeup routine, but it also boosted my confidence. Just be sure to do your research, find a reputable artist, @𝗕𝗿𝗪𝗼𝘄Shuen (highly recommended!) and follow the after care properly.
