My Current Filming Setup

I mostly use these lamps by Shop Canvas Co. They have an attachment for my phone at the top and are really sturdy and well made. I have two pointed towards each desk so that I can maximize my natural light, and often will record with two devices at the same time- capturing different angles or different orientations (one vertical, one horizontal.) When you extend the arm of the tripod, it ends up making the base tip up a little. I see no way around this! In every tripod I’ve tried, this happens! I use a flat rock that my daughter found at the beach to help weigh things down. A stack of books also works- anything heavy! I found that when the tripods were on the same table I was painting on, they would wobble around a bit. I’ve since put them on separate tables so that they won’t constantly be shaking.
