Virginia | Things to do | Burnside Farms Tulips💐

About an hour outside of DC you’ll find Burnside Farms that hosts a myriad of seasonal events! They have tulips in the spring, sunflowers in the summer (check out my previous post on sunflower info🌻) and Christmas trees in the winter. This was my first time going to the spring tulip fields and they were absolutely beautiful and the day was perfect!☀️

We had clear blue skies so it was perfect for pictures at golden hour. For food they offer a selection of food truck and beverage vendors (FYI they closed at 7 pm on the Friday we went)! The tickets were $25 per person if you choose to go during the evening timeslot and the price includes 5 tulips. If the bulb comes out with the tulip it’s $1 extra if you want to keep it. They even have a little outdoor market where you can buy things like locally made jam, vases for your flowers and souvenirs!

The last day to attend this season is tentatively April 14th so I’d definitely say to check it out asap if you’re able! 💗🌷
