Dog Mom Road Trip! 🐾

Over the holidays I took a road trip with my pup! I definitely wanted to avoid boarding her for over 2 weeks for hundreds of dollars so I did what any good mother would do and figured out a way to bring her along with me😂

We started our trip from my home right outside of DC and drove straight for a whole day to make it to my mom’s house in Melbourne, Florida (it took me just about 15 hours to get there!) We stayed with her for a week and started the next leg of our trip to get to Houston to visit my dad, stopping in Pensacola along the way. After spending five days in Houston, it was time to start our journey home! My boyfriend flew down to meet me in Texas and on the way back home we stopped in New Orleans and a few cities in Tennessee. We of course had to stop at multiple Buc-ee’s along the way too🤭.

I was super apprehensive at first to be doing a whole bunch of driving by myself, but after all of this I have no hesitation getting on the road again! If you feel comfortable and your car is in good shape, I definitely recommend taking a road trip and bringing your dog along if you’ve got one! ❤️🐾
