Why I regret getting my Bachelors Degree

Okay hear me out - while I did gain a lot of knowledge on topics of interest to me ( criminal justice degree), now that I’ve been graduated for a few years here’s what I wish I did differently.

1. I wish I explored “trades” more . I now find myself wanting to have a hands on career- dental, hairstylist, etc.

2. I shouldn’t have let others pressure me into going into debt & quickly picking a degree I was interested in without much prep. In HS I wasn’t an average student, I regret not working and taking a gap year to travel.

3. It has done close to nothing to help me beyond graduation- my degree in particular has few job openings for what I want to do. Now that I’ve moved , it makes it harder to find a job in my field.
