Coming out of my anorexia, I then developed a binge eating disorder that lasted for years. I lived with this from the ages of 14-19...a long time! And I just recently truly fixed these habits...and I'm going to show you how I went from binge to balance:

No. 1: The most important fix I made was making sure to eat multiple meals per day, at balanced times...aka, NEVER SKIP MEALS! This is self-sabotage at its ugliest. Even if they're small meals, I make sure to never get to a point of ultra-hunger where I cannot control myself!

No. 2: ALL FOODS FIT! I always say: the dose creates the poison. I had to come down to a sad conclusion that by allowing binge eating to occur, I was poisoning myself. So, I allowed myself to eat foods I fancied in the middle of the day, AROUND people!

No. 3: The moments I felt like bingeing but knew I wasn't hungry, I did something fun. Went on a walk, played tennis, paint, you name it. Something that kept me occupied. This allowed me to find satisfaction in something other than food!
