Overtraining is actually more common than one might realize. I thought that you had to be an athlete, training maybe 2x a day, 6+ days a week in order to experience burnout. On the contrary, anyone can experience it - if you have been training consistently for an extended period of time. In this post, I share what happened to me the first time that I experienced burnout, how I treated it, and so on.

Deloading is so important and can actually really help you maximize your results in the gym. Taking a week off from lifting can really help you become EXCITED to get back into the gym, and consequently will allow you to make an insane comeback
