A tasty and delicious meal that comes together in no time and made all in one pan which is always a plus. Juicy seasoned beef patties made with ground beef smothered in an outrageously delicious mushroom gravy.

—Salisbury Steak Ingredients—

1 cup stuffing mix(or bread crumbs)

1 cup milk

1.5 pound ground beef

1 egg

1 medium onion (minced)

4 cloves garlic (minced)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tablespoon salt

1/2 tablespoon black pepper

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/4 cup olive oil (for searing the steaks)

—Mushroom Gravy—

1 large onion (sliced)

8oz Mushrooms (sliced)

4 cloves garlic (minced)

1/4 cup flour

2 cups chicken broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon thyme (fresh or dried)

1. Place stuffing mix in a bowl, add milk and leave for 5 minutes, let the stuffing soak up the milk.

2. Add in the ground beef, one egg, minced onions and garlic, Worcestershire, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika.

3. Use your hands to mix until well combined. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and pat very firmly into circle or oval patties.

4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat. Add the steaks and cook for 2 minute or until browned, then gently flip and brown the other side (they will still be raw inside). Remove onto plate. (Do in 2 batches to not crowd the skillet).

5. To that same skillet add in the onions and cook for 2 minute until onions are a bit translucent. Add the mushrooms into the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden.

6. Add in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Next add in the flour cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

7. Pour in the chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, season with salt, black pepper and thyme and Mix well.

8. Add in the steaks along with the juices on the plate. Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until gravy is thickened, stirring occasionally around the steaks.

9. Serve salisbury steaks topped with the mushroom gravy over mashed potatoes and with steamed veggies on the side and enjoy!
