What speech therapy looks like in the schools!

What I did today as a grad student working in an elementary school!

First I wrote an assessment for a kiddo we’ve been testing the last few weeks! Then I gave an articulation test! Then I worked on getting the “er” sound with a 5th grader! SLPs know how hard working on the /r/ is! 🥲 then I ate my lunch and did some reading, and I ended the day with two small groups, one doing articulation and the other doing language! Overall a pretty chill day!
