Should Minors Be Allowed To Cosplay?

Hello again all!

This post today is going to be about cosplaying. Im not a cosplayer myself or anything, but there’s some serious things that I think should be discussed about.

Firstly, I think depending on the parents, and obviously maturity level of the minor, some kids should not be allowed to watch certain shows. Especially ones that have character who have experienced: 🍇, SA, 💊’s, Sexual Behavior of any kind, etc.

Now I think it’s alright to cosplay characters, but in an appropriate way. Especially if the person is over 18 and understands what they’re cosplaying. On tik tok I keep getting Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel (shows created by vivziepop on YT for those who don’t know) of minors dressing up as characters like “angel dust” or “Valentino”.

Angel Dust, one of vivzies characters, is a 🌽⭐️ and is a 💊 addict. Valentino SA’s Angel Dust and is basically his pimp. I do not think kids should be cosplaying those topics 💀.

I don’t think minors should be wearing clothing that characters wear that EXPOSE themselves greatly. Now before yall come at me I totally believe in expressing yourself with fashion, I’m not trying to shame anyone for wearing revealing clothing since that’s your own choice and I totally respect that. Body confidence is great! I just don’t think minors should be wearing things exposing themselves especially in public or putting it up on social media.

I think there is a fine line with cosplaying when it comes to minors cosplaying as their favorite characters. I just don’t think kids should be necessarily cosplaying character from helluva boss or Hazbin hotel for example. And the community is REALLY toxic. I really dislike Hazbin hotel not because of it, but I do enjoy helluva boss personally.

I hope I didn’t come off mean or anything, and again I’m not trying to shame anyone in wearing sexy clothing because it’s totally fine to be confident and wear whatever you want. I just don’t think minors should be wearing or acting certain ways especially if they don’t fully understand the situation that character may be in.
