- TIPS FOR IMPROVING YOUR PORTRAITS 🤩

(using lightroom) -

1. By using the 'Masking’ tool in Adobe Lightroom you're able to enhance your subject(s)

by only editing them without effecting

anything else in the image.

2. Don't be afraid to experiment with shadows and light!

Having a harsher light can bring out a more intense

dramatic feel to your portrait.

3. Adobe Lightroom had a plethora of preset options!

Once you find the right preset you can drastically improve the look of your image.

4. If you're experiencing grain in your photos bump down your ISO to reduce grain and raise your APERTURE to preserve the quality in your image.

Remember you can bring the exposure up in post using Adobe Lightroom.

5. Get to know your model a little bit!

Even if you only have 30min with them.

Having them talk about their interests, lifestyle, goals, or hobbies could possibly give you ideas for the shoot!
