How I Improve My English Speaking Skill

I am not using english as my first language. My mother tongue is Malay.

I didn't understand English like everybody else. My English was so bad I didn't even know how to write in English let alone speak.

When I was 15 I did a part time job that requires me to speak in English. My English was so broken, but I was given like a greeting card to use as a reference when greeting the customers. My English has improved since then.
