is Canberra’s best cafe worth visiting?!

So I just arrived at Australia’s capital - Canberra 😆😆 and the first thing I did was have brunch at this REALLY famous cafe that’s known to be one of Canberra’s best cafes - The Cupping Room. So here are my honest opinions ~

What I got:

- French Toast

- Chorizo Skillet

- Bulgogi Sandwich

- Latte

- Mocha

French Toast (~AUD22)

long story short - i LOVED this. sweet with a tinge of tanginess from the oranges & berries & crunch from the cinnamon apples 😮‍💨😮‍💨 there were sm diff components but they all came together so well !! & brioche was SO SOFT 🥹🥹 imo the BEST french toast I have ever tasted !! i’ll come back JUST for THIS🤌🏻🤌🏻

Chorizo Skillet (~AUD23)

tbh p disappointing at the start because the egg was overcooked 😭😭 but other than that, this tastes kind of like a Shakshouka - tomato sauce + cheese + eggs ! a little too tangy for my liking but the bread was 👩🏻‍🍳💋

overall a 8/10 - would def suit those who enjoy the tanginess of a tomato sauce !!

Bulgogi Sandwich (~AUD20+)

this was GOOODDDD 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 essentially a pulled beef sandwich w gochujang mayo 🥵 once again, SM components & it ALL went well together 🤧🤧 but i gotta give it to them, their bread was the STAR. Definitely another must try!!

Overall, I loved the vibes & the food here !! Only thing was that the menu was p limited so 🫤 but they change menus every season so do note some things may not be avail! iirc the french toast is alw avail though so DEF GO TRY IT U WONT REGRET IT !!!
