House hunting is so tiring 😫

It's another dump post here and secretly hoping I'm not the weird one

At this point, we've viewed more than 20 units and.....still can find the one.

I'm starting to question if this is a sign for us not to actually buy a house????

Saturday = house viewing appointment

I am still grateful for our agent, tho who has been so patient and effectively securing a viewing appointment every week. We know she tries her best 🫶🏻

I'm trying to always remind myself that no house is perfect. But still, I can't see any light yet.

We've changed our requirements along the way too to ensure we are not being delulu

1. When the smaller size no longer work, we are now looking for bigger one and subsequently stretch our budget 💸

2. Ideally, it's a walking distance to MRT, but with our new requirements, it's no longer possible, so we're ok if it's 1 LRT away from the MRT

3. Doesn't need to be nicely renovated, but we don’t want a total renovation either.

Most of the units we viewed didn't work out because of the layout or the room size. Either they have a really big living room and too small of a bedroom, or too big of the toilet in general.

We like 2 units so far

● Unit A

Good condition, BUT low floor and literally beside an ongoing construction for school. I'm not sure if I can handle the noise during construction and the school morning bells

● Unit B

Good condition, super near to LRT, BUT because it's on the 2nd floor, those who are waiting for LRT can literally see through us. Also, if I hang my laundry outside.... It feels like no privacy to me.....

At this point, idk if we should just settle or just keep viewing until we find the right one 🥲

We'll have another viewing this Saturday and can only keep praying we'll find our home soon 🤞
