Changes to my little finger because of smartphone😭

I was absent mindedly massaging my fingers when I noticed that my little finger bone has a very marked ridge over where my smartphone usually rests while using. Other fingers don't have it, just my little finger in both hands. Given that smartphones have gotten bigger and heavier over time and practically no one is immune from its use, I'm wondering if as a population, this is a morphological change we are going through. And what its impact would be.
