How to Ace Organic Chemistry ⚗️🧪⚛️

Some tips and tricks to get you an A on your organic chemistry exam!!

1) take good notes in class. Make sure you are listening and taking orderly notes so that when you study them later and rewrite them they are clear and convey the information from class.

2) don’t be afraid of a paper notebook! Writing notes on paper helps to memorize the information better than typing it.

3) color code everything. Your brain will remember what colors you wrote certain topics in and when you get the exam you will remember. Try highlighting the reactants and products in different colors. Make your reagents one color too.

4) make a outline of everything for your exam. Start doing this after each class so by the time the exam rolls around you will have a study guide made! I like to make my chapters my main headings and then do sub headings of every reaction and the mechanism.
