Bubble braids on short hair tutorial 👱🏻‍♀️🫧

Bubble braids are one of my favorite hairstyles to do and I’m always asked about how I achieve them when out and about so I thought I’d share!

1. First, I section the top half of my hair out and put it into two ponytails.

2. Add a hair tie to the ponytail a little bit below where you actually want the bubble portion to end.

3. Pull on the hair in between the hair ties to achieve the bubble effect. I like to have my hair a little messier because with my layers the hair can stick out of the bubbles which look more cohesive if I intentionally make my hair messy.

4. Pull below the last hair tie you put into your hair to tighten and really create a fuller bubble in the hair. Repeat this process until you are satisfied with how your hair looks.
