After sun essentials from a SoCal girly ☀️

all of my must haves for post sun care as someone who is born and raised in Southern California:

1. Aloe Vera - I love this gel from Mine as it is super moisturizing and soothing to the skin when I’ve gotten a sunburn. It also is an amazing consistency as it is not too thick which I prefer.

2. Soothing facial oil - this Bodysurf facial oil can be found on Amazon and has changed the game for me!! It immediately lessens the pain of a sunburn on my face & is so soothing. It also helps settle my skin even when I’m not sunburned but have just been out in the sun a lot that day.

3. Moisturizer - I love this Glossier one in the rich version as it is so so deeply hydrating. It immediately brings back my skin’s hydration.

4. WATER!! Being out in the sun can dehydrate your entire body so make sure you drink plenty of water while in the sun and after being in the sun. I can feel so drained if I’ve laid out at the pool or beach all day because the sun has sucked out all the moisture from my body. Being on top of my overall hydration is key!!
