The 20th book of the New Testament was written by James, Jesus half brother. It was written to the twelve tribes of Israel. It is known as the “Proverbs of the New Testament” or “Wisdom Literature” because it is filled with information for how we should live as Christians.

It is often thought to be one of the first books Christians read after John.

The book focuses on five main themes: trials, faith and works, the tongue, wisdom, and wealth.
