Impress your date with this atas restaurant 🤭

Since #ValentinesDay is coming, here is a restaurant that you might want to consider to bring your date for an atas meal! 😋 Birds Of A Feather is a Western x Sichuan cuisine which has lots of unique flavours that you will probably not taste before! With its ambience and food, you will definitely impress your date 😉

We ordered the $108/pax sharing set which consists of 7 dishes and here’s my review on the food that we’ve tried:

1. Birds Avocado & Crab Bruschetta:

- I love this appetizer!!! I am not a huge fan of avocado but this doesn’t have strong avocado taste and it’s a pretty good starter.

2. Yu Xiang Eggplant:

- Eggplants were never my favourite but this eggplant does not have the slime-y texture?! The sauce was pretty unique, it’s kinda sweet too!

3. Find the Chicken in the Chillies:

- The signature sichuan chicken that taste pretty much the same as any sichuan restaurant 😂

4. Pork Dumpling:

- A pretty interesting sauce that is quite bitter while the pork dumpling comes with a spoonful of spice, making this combination pretty unique!

5. Barramundi Chazuke:

- Japanese rice in sour vege broth with fish fillet, quite a rich and flavourful dish but we were quite full to complete this dish. The fish was cleaned properly with minimal bone! 😜

6. Beef Short Ribs:

- Spicy beef short ribs?! The meat was super thick, i was chewing away non-stop 😂 Tbh, i really liked this dish but if only it was served earlier!!! 😭

7. Pear and Jelly:

- MY FAVOURITE dish of all! This dessert was super sweet and perfect to end off this ‘spicy’ meal. We were able to finish this dessert although we were full from other dishes HAHA.

⚠️ This 7 dishes set might be a little too much, the waiting time for each dish might take awhile and so we ended up getting full before the beef short ribs were served!! We didn’t get to finish all the dishes which was quite a waste. I would recommend getting the $128/pair set instead. ⚠️

⭐️ Service: 4/5 (Friendly staff but waiting time for food could be quite long!) Remember to get a reservation beforehand!
