Although the price cannot match JB’s zi char due to our strong exchange rate, but here’s a zi char store for you to try for the JB vibes while having authentic singaporean zi char!!

Hua Yu Wee is located at East Coast and has been around for business since 1950s!!!

Their outdoor seating really brings me back to JB vibes with the portable aircon and the chinese lantern decorations 😂 ++ it is always crowded with tourists, so it kinda feels like you’re not in SG!!!

The service is superb, the waitresses are mostly aunties & they are super friendly and willing to recommend you any dishes. They also give alternative for any dish that is sold out!

The price is also affordable too, our total damage was $140ish for 3 pax with a crab dish!!! Unlike popular zi char stores like Uncle Leong Seafood & Mellben Seafood, they didn’t jack up their price just bcus they have a pool of non-local diners!
