Free activity at the festivals!!!

This year, Festival at the Fort is happening in conjunction with the Singapore Night Festival 2024. It is held over three weekends – 23 & 24 August, 30 & 31 August, 6 & 7 September. And TODAY is the last day of the event!!

jinyu and I started off with some hands-on craft at fort canning centre to kill time before heading for the night lights at 7pm.

theres are many free workshops taking place at fort canning centre, mostly for kids above 5 yo.

As adults, 'Make Your Own Perler Bead Keychains' and 'Crochet Under the Stars' interest me more.

so ended up we did the first activity. Making Perler Bead Keychains involved us to arrange the beads on a pegboard with our own design, and later bring it to the friendly staff there to help us iron out the beads. we made dinosaurs for each other, and we really enjoyed ourselves :)

after the craft activity, we then moved on to view the night lights installations at the national design centre to support my friend's art work #21 (Opera in motion) and i really love #23 (scents of being) too 😍

overall, it was a great time spent at the festival and i enjoyed myself. 💖✨️
