Soy beancurd tart in Woodlands

Was OTW home and i saw someone's post about soy beancurd tarts, so i decided to give it a try!

It was my first time trying soy beancurd tart and my first impression of it was this legit taste like the less sweet version of lao ban beancurd with buttery biscuit crust holding its shape. The texture of the beancurd is so so smooth and silky! Like tofu, it jiggles when you move! hahahaha, tried & tested! itz that soft!!

And i honestly feel this is a good alternative to the normal EGG tart if you are looking for sth light as a snack!

The only thing bothering me is the thick biscuit at the base of the tart. Towards the end, i felt like i was just eating biscuit crust, if you get what i mean.

Dont get me wrong! Overall, i still think this is a good tart.

If you like nutella tart with more biscuit, i think you will like this more!

These tarts are priced pretty reasonably at $2.40 each. Do give it a try if you are in Woodlands.

FYI, they also serve other peranakan old school favourite mains if you decide to drop by for lunch or dinner. 😋
