Our best staycation in singapore! 🛏️🛁

To celebrate our anniversary, my husband and I splurged on a more-expensive staycation in Singapore at a hotel we've always passed by: JW Marriott. The 4D3N staycay was something we were looking forward to for months, as it was our first proper break away from work in almost a year!

Here's my review of the hotel:

𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠

While the room was no doubt big and comfortable, the decor was a little strange considering JW Marriott is categorised by Marriott as a luxury brand, alongside St. Regis and The Ritz Carlton. The wallpaper corresponds better to a boutique hotel instead of a luxury one.

𝗧𝗢𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗧

Humongous bath tub + Japanese bidet + automatic toilet seat? YES PLEASE!!!! 😍

𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘

Not the fastest, but understandably so, as they were seemed pretty overwhelmed. That said, one of the room service staff entered our rooms although we shouted that we were inside the room 😠

𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

This is very dependent on the room you get — ours faced roads leading to Singapore National Stadium and Suntec City. Not the most impressive, but nothing to complain about either!

𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗟

Love the view but it was way too cold! I couldn't acclimatise even after 15mins, and left the pool shivering like a loser 🤡

(𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘) 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗙𝗔𝗦𝗧

We woke up for breakfast all 3 mornings but concluded that only the Nasi Lemak (with butterfly blue-pea rice) is worth trying! My Hongkie husband did not approve of the dimsum they served — the har gow's skin was way too thick. Having said that, free is my fav word and I'll still stuff myself silly at their breakfast table.
