My checkered backsplash dreams have come true...

Thanks to our super chill landlord, we now have a backsplash in our rental!

I've wanted to tile in here for ages, to add some interest to this bland kitchen. I love checkered tile, so I went for a white/green design. I purchased the cheapest kind of tile you can get, so it wasn't a very pricey project.

My husband installed it by using an adhesive, cutting any tiles to perfectly fit, and then grouting.

Now this kitchen is feeling more like us! But I'm not sure the yellow is working with it, so I might paint back to white.
