Can’t believe it’s been almost 4 years...

In February we'll have lived in this little beach rental for 4 years, and I've been reflecting a lot on our time here and how wonderful it's been. This home has been a space of creativity, rest, and lots of beach time. I'm so thankful we found this home, for all that it's taught us, for the location, and for all the memories we've made here and will continue to make here.

As I mentioned, we live right by the beach so it's been a space for lots of surf. My husband grew up surfing but I'm still learning and I'm thankful for the easy access to the beach.

Collecting pieces from our travels and displaying them in our home makes me so happy. It adds so much character and tells a story.

The light in our bedroom is my favorite in the whole house. The glorious sunrises shine right through our windows. It's the best alarm clock and my favorite way to wake up.

I never used to really be a flower girl but this year I've realized how much I love fresh blooms in my space. It doesn't feel complete without it.

Experimenting with color and paint has been a lot of fun, and I'm thankful for a landlord that allows us to paint our walls. I've enjoyed taking risks!

Trying to get better at DIY-ing. I'm still far from perfect, but this space has encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone a little bit.
