I’m picky but it’s worth it!

Yes, these are all pics of our current rental. I know - it looks TOTALLY different. But the bare bones are all that matters.

Here are the main things I'm looking for when it comes to renting:

1. Chill landlords. It's a must for me. I don't want to sign a contract that says I can't hang anything on the walls or make any subtle changes. I'm so thankful that our landlord gives us full reign to make improvements!

2.Nice floors. Walls you can paint, but floors are a tricky one to change. I know you can get peel and stick tiles, but I really want to start off with nice flooring if possible. I love our hardwood floors so much, they give our place such a warm feel and a lot of character.

3.Signs of character. Our kitchen isnt the cutest, but I do like our bathroom and the tile in the tub. I also love our built-in bookcase and the older fixtures. I much prefer that to a new build.

4.Location. This trumps everything for me. We want to be right by the beach, so honestly that's the main thing we're looking for. All the other things are really just extras!
