Italian 🍝 Restaurant Revamp in Chicago

Logan Square is the current hot spot for Chicago eats. Daisies is an Italian favorite in the neighborhood that shutdown during the pandemic and took the opportunity to give itself a makeover. Now that we've emerged from the pandemic, Daisies has reopened with a new, modern interior and a freshly updated menu.

Their staff is highly knowledgeable about allergies. There were plenty of gluten and dairy free options. We got the over-priced tomato with gluten free bread ($18). This was honestly so mouth-wateringly delicious, I'm still dreaming about it.

We also got a couple gluten free pastas for our entree. The pasta itself is delectable - some of the best I've had. However I wasn't in love with the rigatoni sauce ($23). It was like a sausage meat sauce, but the spices weren't your average italian spices like I was expecting - it could’ve been my expectations that made it fall flat for me. The mushroom ragu was amazing though ($20), definitely recommended.

I'll definitely be back here, hopefully to try some of their famous baked goods.
