Amazing Thai Fusion Cafe 🇹🇭

📍 Butty Boy Cooks, Petaling Jaya

This spacious & well lit fusion cafe is located right opposite Nippori Bistro, in the centre of PJ. I love the industrial yet greens interior of the place, with an abundance of long tables for gatherings & celebrations too!

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐠𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐚 (𝐑𝐌𝟑𝟎)

A very interesting combination with salted egg and sweet-sour tomato based pizza. I enjoyed the thin crust pizza so so much and I can’t wait to come back and try their other flavours.

𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 (𝐑𝐌𝟑𝟕)

The green curry was mildly spicy so it’s perfect for those who can’t tolerate spicy Thai food 🤣 Texturr was really creamy but it tasted a little too milky for my liking. Worth a mention that there were so many chicken slices & vegetables inside though, totally worth the price.

𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚'𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐔𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐡 (𝐑𝐌𝟑𝟗)

They’re famous for their udang gala and the addition of ONE PRAWN into any dish would cause a price increase of RM20, eg the original seafood noodle soup only cost RM19, but the one with udang gala is RM39. This dish has a similar concept to mama mee, with bouncy noodles cooked in creamy & fragrant tomyum. The soup was spicy and appetising, however the prawn was a let down and I didn’t find anything special about it.

Filled with wok hei and once mixed well with the sides, it gave off a fresh & crunchy feeling, I’d rate this a solid 8/10.

Another must-order Thai dish when you go to any Thai restaurant 😍 Once again, I’m impressed by the abundance of eggplants, cabbage and onions they put into their soups, so generous & worthy.
