Hi friends, have you tried gochujang rose pasta before?

This is the ULTIMATE lazygirl / easy wfh meal:

1) It takes <15 minutes to cook.

2) It can be made with pantry ingredients.

3) Most importantly, it's delicious!

Ingredients needed:

- Pasta (any kind)

- Egg

- Spring onions

- Gochujang

- MARIGOLD Non Fat Natural Yoghurt (instead of cream!)

Yoghurt is my secret ingredient - I use this to replace cream, which is what's traditionally used in rose sauces! 🤭

Compared to yoghurt, cream is a lot more expensive, goes bad quite quickly (so you can't use half a packet to make pasta and keep the other half of the packet 🥲), and it's higher in fat and saturated fats. PS: A diet high in saturated fats may increase the risk of stroke and heart diseases!

That's why I like to use yoghurt - it can keep for a pretty long time, it's much more affordable, and most importantly, it's healthier (especially if you use MARIGOLD Non Fat Natural No Sugar Added Yoghurt, which is what I do!)

How to make gochujang pasta:

Step 1: Fry your egg and chop your spring onions.

This is completely up to you, but I like to make sure my yolk is a bit underdone when I fry the egg! When you're eating, you can break the yolk and mix it in with the pasta, which makes it EVEN CREAMIER.

Step 2: Boil water and cook your pasta.

Step 3: Once your pasta is 90% done, pour away 90% of the water, leaving a bit of water behind. Add 1.5 tbsp gochujang and mix it in so that it dissolves evenly.

Step 4: Add 2 tbsp yoghurt and watch as your pasta magically becomes creamy! Taste-test and season with salt, or add more gochujang/yoghurt depending on what you like.

PS: With this hack of using yoghurt to replace cream, you can use it in SO MANY applications!

I always have a huge-ass tub of yoghurt at home (right now, I'm using MARIGOLD Non-Fat Yoghurt!) so that I can use it in pasta, soups, and other savoury dishes. You can also use it to replace sour cream for rosti! 🥰

That aside, I also have the Low Fat Yoghurt at home, which I use for making yoghurt pound cake and other bakes.

Hope you guys enjoy this rose pasta (and the hack! 😛)
