⚠️ tea that's labelled "FOR COLD BREW" is a scam

Hi friends, have you ever seen those tea leaves or teabags that are labelled "suitable for cold brew"?

It's a complete scam - because you can make cold brew tea with ANY tea leaves or teabags.

Grab whatever tea you have at home, and see for yourself!

How to make cold brew tea:

1) If you're using tea leaves, transfer 1.5 tbsp into a teabag (you can find these at Daiso or on Shopee).

2) Place the teabag into a water flask and fill with water. I use around 2L of water for 1.5tbsp of tea.

3) Put it in your fridge and let it steep for 4h or overnight, then enjoy.

Cold brew tea is generally more fragrant and less acidic as compared to normal tea. It's "smoother" and less "siap siap" because it uses a slow, gentle brewing process that doesn't produce a lot of tannins (which is what contributes to the "siap siap" taste).

The weather is crazy hot these days, so it's really nice to have a jug or flask of cold brew tea in the fridge that you can sip on!
