✅️ Pores don't open and close because they don't have muscles that contract or relax. They just appear bigger or smaller based on how clean they are. That's why you should keep them squeaky clean

❌️ People of color don't need sunscreen.

✅️ Our melanin is not enough to protect our skin from damage and cancer. We need sunscreen. Period. Plus, the rays can make our spots darker.

❌️People with oily skin don't need moisturizer.

✅️ You do, in fact need moisturizer. You need one that's water or gel-based. Your skin craves moisture which is why it creates oil as a protection.
