🤍 Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince / Taylor: in this song, Taylor shrinks the entirety of americas political system into a high school universe. It tells the story of our protagonist looking to her lover for comfort as the fate of their future remains uncertain.

💙 Tennis Courts / Lorde: idk why this song gives 4th of July vibes. Ok fine, I do! When this song came out I was in high school. My friends and I listened to it on repeat at the lake that 4th of July weekend and by the time we made it back to school, EVERYONE was listening to this EP! I’ll never get over the feeling of convincing myself that Lorde was ever an underground artist.

🎆: Primadonna / Marina & The Diamonds: honestly, I don’t find myself listening to much Marina these days. however, there is something about primadonna that just SCREAMS independence & freedom to me.
