My 3 Fave Spotify Playlists for Reading📚

I have recently for the first time ever started listening to music while I read, and it’s made me able to focus SO MUCH MORE.

I always used to think I was the type that needed complete silence to focus on a book, but I realized total silence = too many thoughts floating around in my head = far too much distraction to focus on reading.

Certain genres of music I’ve found quiet my mind better than others, and now choosing a playlist for a reading session is just as important to me as choosing which book to read 📖

My current favorite music genres for reading are lofi, jazz, and classical. Instrumentals are better for me but sometimes I branch out and listen to music with lyrics if i’m feeling wild🤭

Please send me your fave recs for reading spotify playlists!!! The three pictured here are my current faves, but I am notorious for listening to the exact same music over and over again so it would not kill me to try something new 🙂
