life has been a hectic storm for me recently— constant deadlines, brand events, content creation and preparing for my new job ⏰

and while I’m super thankful for all these opportunities, the weight of stress was unmistakable, and I could feel that burnout lurked just around the corner 😩 #Adulting101

that’s when I knew I needed to hit "pause" and make self-care a priority 🛑💫 AND HAVE A SELF CARE DAY!!

started the morning with yoga in the park 🧘🏻‍♀️super tranquil and would definitely recommend!! plus it’s only $10?? 😳 #WorthIt

next, I got a full-body massage right next door at @aramsaspas ☺️

🌷𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐍

• located in AMK-bishan park, it’s really a spa inside a garden

• inside of the spa is filled with greenery too

• the tranquil ambiance instantly quieted my racing mind

• feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, helps me relax and slow down 💛

🌷𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐄

• a 60-minute deep tissue massage in a private room!!!

• includes a foot soak prior to the massage!!

• i like how the massage is customised to your needs

• choose from 2 different essential oils for your massage: sleep or relaxation

• i chose sleep & really did fall asleep during my session bc of how relaxing it was! 🤣

🌷𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌

• the room was huge!! not like those tiny spaces closed off with curtains @ JB

• the room comes with facilities like an area to get your feet soaked & massaged, a cupboard for your clothes & bags, a sink, and a whole outdoor shower area

• they also have larger couple rooms for you and your partner or bestie!!

🌷 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄

• the masseuse was very attentive & kind!!

• not only did she rub out the knots around my shoulders & neck, but she also checked in on me before covering me with extra towels as it was raining during our session and she was worried I’d get cold.

• she also gave me a heated pillow to warm up my body during the massage 🥰

• it was a soothing, stress-free experience bc there was NO HARDSELLING either!!

• there was even ambient noise so don’t have to worry about awkward silences 🤪

afterwards, I was brought to a room to chill & sip on some freshly brewed ginger tea that was grown right on the spa's premises. the spiced tea really warmed my body up from the inside out!!!! and was quite yummy bc I usually HATE ginger tea but I finished everything 🤣

this self-care day really gave me the time and space I needed to rest & rejuvenate before taking on bigger projects ahead!! 🦋
